What is the Camper To Coach Ratio at You Reach I Teach?
We try to maintain a 10 campers to 1 coach ratio, where each camper has the opportunity to get individual attention from a highly-experienced coach.
What is a typical day like at You Reach I Teach?
Our schedule may vary depending on the interests of our campers and/or their skill level. Here is a sample daily schedule:8:45–9:25 AM – Student drop off and shoot around time.
9:30–10:00 AM – Warm ups, stretching, and precise ball handling drills as well as shooting/dribbling games. Intermittent water breaks, as needed.
10:45–12:00 PM – Organized games or group training work.
12:00–1:00 PM – Lunch
1:00–2:45 PM – Guest Speakers, Sports Trivia, Individual or Group Competitions
2:45 – 3:00 PM – Dismissal
3:00–5:00 PM – After care, if available.
Does You Reach I Teach provide meals or snacks during camp, clinics, or after-school programs?
Parents are encouraged to pack a lunch, and a water bottle. Snacks, water, gatorade etc will be available for purchase. All food and water bottles are suggested to have a label with the child’s name.
If my child attends a different school than where You Reach I Teach operates its after-school programs, are they still able to participate?
Yes, but it’s best to check with us before you register the child to ensure that the school does not have any internal policies and procedures, that may limit opportunities for children outside of the school.

Is after-care available following You Reach I Teach summer camp programs?
Depending on the gym’s availability, and how many sign ups we have, after care may be available. It’s best to check with our staff beforehand. Daily aftercare fees are $20 per camper per hour and valid until 5:00 PM. There is a $1 per minute charge for late pickups after 5:00 PM.
How early can I drop my kids off at camp?
Depending on the gym’s availability, campers may be dropped off as early as 8:45 AM.
Can my child attend camp on a day-by-day basis?
Yes, our rates are as follows:
1 day – $65
2 days – $130
3 days – $180
4 days – $240
5 day (Full week of camp) – $275
Does You Reach I Teach have a Counselor In Training "CIT" program?
Yes, we’d be happy to welcome CIT’s ages 15 and older. Through our CIT program, former campers and others who are interested can train to eventually become a paid staff member, and earn student service learning (SSL) hours.
Does You Reach I Teach’s after school program operate on “no school” days?
Our after school program will only operate on days that school is in session.
Does You Reach I Teach Offer refunds?
If a child has to miss camp, group/private session or after school classes and has already paid, we will be happy to offer a make-up session by having them attend the next available session. Unfortunately, we do not offer monetary refunds, for any reason.
